Terms of use
These terms apply when you use mjcard.com, apply for a medical cannabis card, or book a visit through MJCard. MJCard is operated by MJCard LLC. By using the site or booking a visit, you agree to these terms and to our privacy policy.
What MJCard does
MJCard connects you with independent physicians licensed in your state for a telehealth evaluation. If your doctor decides that you qualify, they file your certification with your state's medical cannabis program. Your state, not MJCard, decides whether to issue a card.
This is not emergency care. If you have a medical emergency, call 911.
Who can use MJCard
- You must be 18 or older. A patient under 18 can apply only through a parent or legal guardian acting as their caregiver.
- You must live in a state where we offer visits, and have a valid driver's license or state ID from that state.
- The information you give us must be true, complete and your own. Giving false information can cancel your certification and may break the law.
Your visit and certification
- Your doctor uses their own medical judgment. Booking or paying for a visit does not guarantee that you will be certified.
- Have your ID and any medical records ready, and be available at your appointment time.
- To change or cancel an appointment, use the link in your confirmation email, or contact us.
Price and payment
- The visit costs $79, paid when you book. It covers your visit and the paperwork your doctor files for you.
- Your state may charge its own card fee. You pay it directly to the state.
- Refunds: If you cancel before your visit, contact us and we'll refund your payment in full. If the doctor can't certify you at your visit, we'll refund your payment in full. Once your doctor has filed your registration with the state, the visit fee can't be refunded. State card fees are paid to your state, which decides its own refunds.
Your account
Keep your password private. You are responsible for activity under your account. Tell us right away if you think someone else has used it.
Using the site
Please don't misuse the site: no attempts to break in or interfere with it, no scraping, no automated bookings, and no using it to break the law.
Medical cannabis and the law
Medical cannabis laws are different in every state and change over time. You are responsible for following your state's rules on buying, possessing and using medical cannabis. Cannabis remains a controlled substance under federal law. Never drive or operate machinery while impaired.

The MJCard name, logo, text and design belong to us or our licensors. Don't copy or reuse them without permission.
Limits on our liability
To the extent the law allows, MJCard is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the site or service. Medical care is provided by the independent physicians you see, who are responsible for their own care. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have that the law does not allow us to limit.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia. Any dispute about them or the service will be heard in the state or federal courts in Georgia, unless the law where you live gives you the right to bring it there.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We will post the new version here with a new date. If you keep using MJCard after a change, the new terms apply to you.
